Saving cigars
A hobo who does like to smoke cigars but does not have any money, collects cigars stumps. From every six stumps he finds he can make a new cigar. One a particular day he finds 36 stumps. How many cigars can he smoke on that day?
Solution
From the 36 stumps he find on the street he can make six cigars. By smoking this six cigars he will get 6 stumps. From this 6 stumps he can make a new cigar. So in total he can smoke 7 cigars on that day.
